Imajica were approached by top up-and-coming fashion designer Nicola Beedie to brand and market a charity fashion show based in Aberdeen in aid of Cancer Research UK and The Toni & Guy Charitable Trust. Nicola wanted the event to be branded Unseen to showcase the latest and greatest up-and-coming talent in fashion and the arts in the area.
The brief was simple: something bold, funky and stylish but with a free reign to be as bold and as funky as we wished.
Imajica’s approach was to work on a brand based on the iconic typography of A. M. Cassandre, using a font that was in parts transparent and so “Unseen”. The final 2 colour approach of black with a bold golden yellow was carried through all of the brand material into tickets, programmes and the posters & flyers that showed up throughout the city’s most fashionable addresses.
The final event was held in the city’s Copthorne Hotel with tickets selling out quickly and making it a very successful night for the charities and designers alike.
