Although we’re an Aberdeen Design agency, we often travel to work with clients in other areas of the UK. For one such client, we found ourselves in Chelmsford, Essex, at the Whoosh! Centre. An adult community learning centre, where local people and staff can take part in all kinds of training and activities, from Foot Reflexology to Storytelling.
Whoosh! required a website that was functional, easy to navigate and reflected the fun aspects of what they offer. Our award winning designers used bold colours to make the site inviting and we brought in an illustrator to create custom cartoon characters, which added a fun element.
As we’re dab hands at film and video production, we produced all the TV media. A looping presentation displayed on a plasma screen, welcomes new visitors to the centre, and to ensure that people are aware of what’s available at their centre, we also produced a “short” to showcase all the activities. And of course people need to be able to book the courses, so we provided Whoosh! with a booking system too!
